I'm trying to get my Linux on. Each time I get started School comes back around and I fall back into panic mode, where something has to be done right away and so I lean back on Windows. What a crutch.
This time I think I'm pretty well off. I've got my firefox installed, and I've pretty much got the network to where I can pass things back and forth between Kubuntu and XP.
I know, I know. What do I need XP for? Just think of Linus and his security blanket. The peanut not the kernal developer.
But it is getting better with every version.
Now that it's up and running, I may need to put Fedora and then Windows Server 2003 on this computer for class.
Never enough computers.
You don't know of any freeware virtual machines that run in Linux do you?
I'm going to go look for one right now.
You can download it at http://www.virtualbox.org/ , but you probably can download and install in one go through the Add/Remove Application in Kubuntu.
Thanks Onno!
Let me know how it works for you.
